IntimeBooks is a fully cloud-based accounting platform, so you can access your books from any browser without installing anything. It uses the same Indian accounting conventions Tally users are familiar with (Debit Note for purchase returns, Credit Note for sales returns, and standard voucher types) and exports directly to Tally XML so your CA can continue using their existing Tally workflow.

Yes. You can import ledgers, groups and opening balances from Tally exports. Voucher imports are also supported for standard entries. See the Blog for step-by-step import guides.

All connections use HTTPS end-to-end. Sensitive fields at rest are encrypted, and each company's data is isolated by tenant. Standard security headers (Content-Security-Policy, Strict-Transport-Security, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy) are enforced across the site.

Yes, entirely. You can export your books at any time to Excel, CSV or Tally XML. IntimeBooks never resells or shares your accounting data with third parties.

Yes. Sales and Purchase vouchers capture GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes and CGST/SGST/IGST amounts. The GST register produces the summary you need for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B filing, and reconciles input tax credit against uploaded GSTR-2B.

Yes. You can invite additional users to a company with different permission levels. Every voucher, edit and reversal is tagged with the user who performed it, providing a full audit trail.

PDF and Excel statements from every major Indian bank — HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Axis, Kotak, Yes Bank, IDFC First and others. The analyser auto-classifies each transaction based on the narration and lets you bulk-post them as Receipt or Payment vouchers.

Yes. The interface is responsive and works on modern mobile browsers. For heavy data entry, a laptop or desktop is recommended, but reports, invoicing and bank statement uploads work well on mobile.

Yes. A single IntimeBooks account can hold multiple companies. Switching between them is a single click and each company's books are completely isolated.

You can export your complete books to Tally XML, Excel or CSV before closing the account. Your data remains yours to take with you.
